What would you do if you found out there was an action you could take, this very second, that would:
- Reduce inflammation
- Improve
bonerscirculation - Drastically cut your carbon footprint
- Save lives
- Make me very happy?
The Game Changers, a much-anticipated documentary brought to you by some guy you might have heard of, James Cameron, masterfully illustrates just how much a plant-based diet can improve your health – and the health of the planet we share.
Starting today, you can watch this life-altering documentary on Netflix.
Someone asked me, ‘How can you get as strong as an ox without eating any meat?’ And my answer was, ‘Have you ever seen an ox eat meat?'” -Patrik Baboumian, Germany’s strongest man
I was fortunate enough to catch the world premiere of The Game Changers here in Bend, Oregon last month, along with two friends and wonderful humans who worked on the film and live locally. There isn’t a single soul to whom I wouldn’t recommend this movie. It’s entertaining, funny, and chock full of information that will change your life, and our collective future, for the better.
When I went plant-based back in 2016, not only did my health and recovery time [in athletic pursuits] improve, so did my entire outlook on life.

In fact, I was so moved by what I was learning that I went back to school for a Masters degree in Humane Education, which helped me focus on developing solutions to address human rights, animal rights, and environmental protection.
Excitingly, The Game Changers launch coincides with the continuation of my thesis project, The Vegan Dollar. Now that I’m done with school and settled in my new home, I’m doubling down on my ‘vegan food hack’ video series.
Once James Cameron and Ahhhh-nold have you stoked about your new lifestyle, I hope you’ll come check out some cheap, easy recipes that’ll make plant-based eating a breeze!

Have you seen The Game Changers? What do you think?

While I applaud your earth friendly choices, I know I could never do it. The mere thought of never having another cheeseburger makes me break out in hives.
I bought Beyond Burgers, vegan cheddar slices, and those really, really crappy-but-awesome white bread rolls this week for a true, old-fashioned grease burger experience this week. It was so awesome.
I think you’ve been in Oregon too long… Beyond Burger and vegan cheddar is not the old fashioned I dream about.
🤣
I recommend the Impossible Burger. I literally can’t tell the difference!
Really? I have a lot of vegan friends who are constantly getting me to try meatless burgers and I haven’t liked one yet…
I’m all for healthy substitutes but when it comes to meat? Not so much.
We love Boca burgers here. In my opinion, they have so much more flavor than any beef. My kids even eat them now (and that’s no small feat!)
I agree! It is a must-see documentary. I’ve been vegan for years and I’m so happy to see something that actually might handle the idiotic statements people make about not having enough protein. Just the other day some guy was going on and on about how football players are different and have to have meat. So not true!
High five!! I think right on par with that was the fact that they addressed the whole soy (non) issue!
I can’t wait to see this!!!
I watched it again on Wed night and enjoyed it every bit as much. Can’t wait to hear what you think!
Hey
Congrats on your you tube channel 👍. You are just rocking it.☺️
Thank you so much, Rita – right back at’cha!! It’s fun, isn’t it??
Yep Jules, but I haven’t uploaded anything since month due to not keeping well. And making video stress me with a lot of work while making and at time of editing.
It was great to watch your videos.👍
Go, you! You’ve definitely given me some (non-animal-y) food for thought. Thanks!
Thank YOU!! (insert super smiley face here)
While I don’t think I’ll ever go full vegetarian or indeed vegan I’m always happy to hear of someone that’s experienced a positive change. I’ll certainly check out the documentary though. I’m cutting down on meat but….😄
I think you’ll really enjoy it and I’d love to know what you think after you watch it! 🙂
Haven’t seen it yet, but I will!!!
I will have to see this for sure! I have gradually started to cut out animal products in my life (it’s hard to reverse a lifelong habit!). Dairy products, gone. I feel amazing and honestly, I don’t miss hamburgers. Ew. People used to make fun of me growing up because meat in general has always been just gross to me to eat. I think eventually the rest of the world will be plant-based. Everything depends on it!
BTW, Julia and I love your vegan videos! You are so talented and GORGEOUS!!! I have never seen you so happy, you just GLOW! I am so happy for you!
I’ve been on the plant based fence for a long time, but always veered away from the edge due to my assumed need for protein. I’m an avid backpacker and need calories and protein. I finally made the switch about a month ago. The most noticeable change for me was elimination of joint pain. This alone made it worthwhile! I’m still learning, and trying to get all of the protein I need without a bunch of supplements, but so far so good. I saw Game Changers last week and loved it. It confirmed a few of the things I’ve realized since my leap. 🙂
