On Sunday night “The Glee Project” announced their winner, and I soooo nailed it – the guy with the dreads (Samuel) won! In a delightful everyone’s-a-winner twist, though, they also gave the Irish kid (Damian) a 7-episode contract, and both runners-up (Alex and Lindsay) will be appearing in 2 episodes! Like I wasn’t pumped enough for Season 3.

I actually had such a downer post ready to go up today (let’s just say a disturbing episode of “Restaurant Impossible” made me worry I’m one night of boob tubing and two vodka tonics away from being Kevin Spacey’s new ‘sloth’ victim [side note: isn’t “Se7en” the best scary movie ever?]). But then the skies parted and my little guilty pleasure guardian angels flew down and typed “Darren Criss” into my Google search engine (they really LOVE to do that). Which led me to…
A Darren Criss flash mob! (Done at a Chicago fair where Darren recently performed.) Sure, it’s amateurish, and goes on a little too long, but aren’t they cute? It lifted my spirits, and I hope it does the same for you!
Darren later tweeted that he could finally cross “witness a flash mob dance to your songs” off of his bucket list. People are always surprised to hear I have a bucket list, but doesn’t everyone? What’s that one water sport you’ve always wanted to try, or that one country/state you’ve always wanted to visit? See, ta da, bucket list started!
Here are a mere few of my bucket list items – I even included some I’ve already done to show you that guilty pleasure dreams really do come true (as if this post wasn’t proof enough!):

The Redwood Forest is a must. Give it more time than you think you should, though. If you hurry it’ll just be like, “Big trees. Pretty.” and you’re done.
Shortly after you get past the forest there’s a beach where you can camp right on the sand, too. If you’re in to camping. I know you’re ready with the s’mores…
Ooh, thank you for the advice! If it’s even half as beautiful as the Olympic National Park (which I drove through two summers ago), I’ll love it. I can definitely be talked into camping, too, usually by someone saying, “You bring the s’mores, I’ll bring the booze.”
Ba.D. has a bucket list, but I haven’t really considered making one till just now. Sure, I have a list of 101 things to accomplish in 1001 days that I’m kinda working toward, but it seems like it would be nice to remind myself of all the adventures yet to be had.
Can you put things you’ve already done on the bucket list and check those off? If so, I’m off to a great start, or will be if I ever write my list!
Also, I really wish you hadn’t already seen the California coast. How else am I supposed to entice you here now? Maybe I could persuade you to replace that “World” with “land”? :p
You’ve one-upped the Bucket List with 101 things in 1,001 days! But you’ll definitely still need a bucket list if you want to add things you’ve already done so you can check them off. That is actually one of life’s finest guilty pleasures; I try never to start a list unless there’s already something I can check off.
I am extremely willing to trade World for Land (although can you believe I’ve never been to Florida!?!?!). I have so much more of CA to see, and now I’ve got the added enticement of knowing awesome people out there! (That reminds me, make sure you add ‘visit NYC with side trip to Jersey countryside’ to your bucket list!)
