Guilty Pleasure Overdose…Someone Call 9-1-FUN!

Chipmunks, I… I can’t even… I mean it’s just so… Deep breath. Okay. I’m having trouble typing because of THIS ARTICLE.

Have mercy!

Second Husband (Darren Criss) + People’s Sexiest Man Alive photo shoot = eating peanut butter cups and drinking champagne on a cloud while watching Glee and having someone tell me I’m perfect.

Here’s a sneak peek:

Clearly the guilty pleasure gods wish to appease me.

He looks like Eric from The Little Mermaid*. Or, you know, like every dream come true.

I am going to have to add a new bullet point to my “Why Polygamy is the Right Choice for You” presentation (if you think this presentation is just a figment of my imagination, you don’t know me very well): You can be the pretty one in the relationship. Pinky swear.

All right. I think I can move on now, to what this post was originally supposed to be about (oops).

I saw Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1 this weekend (I’ll give you a moment to recover from the shock). I thought it was a lot more carefully done than Eclipse and I always enjoy seeing my favorite books come to life on the silver screen. I especially loved the wedding speeches and the closing shot.

I have a whole new set of ideas for my second wedding now. Photo credit: twilightnewssite.com

What did you think of Breaking Dawn?! (Feel free to ignore this question to comment instead about how much joy I will bring to Second Husband’s abs life.)

*I spent a considerable amount of time coming up with Little Mermaid puns for this paragraph, and then thought better of it…until this footnote. Here’s my favorite:

You’re the dinglehopper to my bad hair day.

  1. Ah! He does look like Eric!! How awesome; The Little Mermaid was always my favorite… Oh my, I want to see Breaking Dawn especially since I’ve read all the books, but I didn’t want to get in all the young teenage crowds. I’m glad you liked it!

    1. Right?! It was/is my favorite Disney movie, too! If you’re a Darren Criss fan, you can see lots of clips of him on YouTube singing Disney songs like “Part of Your World.” He’s played a lot of small shows and Disney songs seem to be his thing.

You’ll have to let me know what you think of Breaking Dawn when you see it! They have these dine-in theaters now in Jersey, so you get to pick your seat ahead of time (like on an airline) and have plenty of room, with your own table for food, etc., so it really helps remove the feeling of teeny bopper madness. It was quite a civilized viewing of vampires. …Ha!

Thank you so much for reading and commenting 🙂

  2. “You’re the dinglehopper to my bad hair day.” Could that be ANY cuter? I think not! 🙂

Still haven’t seen Breaking Dawn, but my oldest daughter went with friends and said it was AMAZING and very well done. I told her not to tell me any details except for the place in the story where the movie ended–which sounds like a good stopping point to me.

I think you should post your “Why Polygamy is the Right Choice for You” presentation, so I can see if your bullet points match up with mine! 🙂

    1. Thanks, Sprinkles!! I definitely want to see Breaking Dawn again. You’ll have to let me know what you think if you do see it.

I am soooo posting my presentation before I see Second Husband on Jan 7th 🙂 I will want your input for sure, LOL

    1. Thanks so much for checking out my blog, Rach! You will have to let me know what you think of Breaking Dawn when you see it (and how you like the cheesecake if you try it)! I want to see it again, LOL (There is a reason I have a guilty pleasure blog… ;))

  3. So you liked the latest Twilight? My wife – VampieLover is her nickname, so you KNOW she loves these flicks – didn’t care for it all! And she saw the last one five times!

  4. Just remember, there is no cure regarding blindness – no real matter what you do, once you hit this time,
your picture is gone eternally – thus defend your face from the
beginning. Consequently, exercise is definitely an immediate protective of
diabetes – therefore, also working as being a prevention of diabetic retinopathy.
